Keep hand sanitizer on you at all times and use it whenever you touch something that’s often touched by others. Also, steer clear of those who are visibly sick. If you’re able to keep yourself from picking up any germs from others, you have a much better chance of staying healthy while on the road.
Focus On Hydration
To keep your body functioning as it should, one of the most important things you should be focusing on while traveling is remaining hydrated. According to Genevieve Shaw Brown, a contributor to ABC News, the average person should be drinking about one ounce of water for every pound they weigh. And if you feel thirsty, it’s safe to say that your body is already starting to get dehydrated. So by drinking more water and limiting the amount of alcohol you drink, you should be able to stay hydrated and give your body the energy it needs to fight off illness or infection.
