10 Vegas Residencies You Don’t Want To Miss In 2017

If you’re planning a visit to the City of Sin this year, make time to see at least one of the fabulous shows in Las Vegas in 2017! This year’s lineup is full of world-class superstars from a range of different genres and age-groups, but one thing’s for sure – they’re bound to sell out so you’ll have to be quick so you don’t miss your favourite!

To make things easier for you, we sat down with Vegas holiday experts, Travelbag, who talked us through some of the best Las Vegas concerts that will grace the stage this year.

Britney Spears

Planet Hollywood: March 22-31, April 1-8 and May 3-20.

As one of the most famous pop stars in the world, it was only matter of time before Britney Spears signed a Las Vegas residency deal. Britney has actually been performing regularly at Planet Hollywood since last year, but her shows are as electrifying and daring as ever. Britney has 15 years of hit making under her belt, but we think that her residency in the City of Sin is producing some of the best shows in Vegas.

Celine Dion

Caesar’s Palace: April 4-22, May 16-31 and June 2-3.

Celine Dion is a Vegas icon, and has been performing her ‘Celine’ residency in Caesars Palace since 2011. She’s booked in to perform her shows until June 2017, to adoring audiences. The show has received critical acclaim, with music critics claiming her voice was sent from the angels. Celine performs all her hits during her shows in Las Vegas, including A New Day Has Come, Beauty & The Beast and My Heart Will Go On.

Journey

Hard Rock Hotel: May 3-20

At the end of last year, San Francisco rockers Journey signed up for a spring residency deal at the famous Hard Rock Hotel. Nine shows have been confirmed between May 3rd and May 20th, which promise hits such as Only The Young, Wheel in the Sky and Don’t Stop Believin’.

Jennifer Lopez

Planet Hollywood: February 8-25, May 24-31, June 2-11, September 6-30 and October 4-7.

Jennifer Lopez’s fierce headline residency at Planet Hollywood has met rave reviews, and it’s no wonder. This electrifying mix of pop megahits and new music is perfect for any JLo fan, and has the whole audience up dancing again and again. The set list for Jennifer’s explosive shows includes smash hits Love Don’t Cost A Thing, I’m Real and Jenny From The Block, to name a few!

The Tenors of Rock

Harrahs: Wednesday – Sunday 8pm

The Tenors of Rock are made up of five male vocalists from the UK, and bring a explosive rock experience to the main showroom in Harrahs from Wednesday to Sunday every week. Legendary hits like Sweet Child of Mine, God Gave Rock n’ Roll To You and Back in Black, among others, are performed to perfection, and this five-piece are joined regularly on stage with some of the most fantastic musicians in the business.

Boyz II Men

The Mirage: February 17-26, March 17-19, April 1-2, 21-22, 28-30

Famed for their emotional ballads and stunning acapellas, R&B legends Boyz II Men bring their superstar talents to The Mirage in a stunning residency during the first half of the year. Regularly named as one of the most iconic groups in the history of R&B, their shows never disappoint, jam-packed full of timeless hits that are enjoyed across generations.

Elton John

Caesar’s Palace: February 7-20, April 25-29 and May 1-5.

Elton John is one of the best-selling artists of all time, and his ‘Million Dollar Piano’ residency shows in Las Vegas sell-out again and again. The centrepiece of the show is the namesake piano, which Elton plays with the same passion as he has done throughout his long career. Fans will love singing along to hits such as Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer and Your Song.

Mariah Carey

Caesar’s Palace: July 8-18

Another pop diva for the list, Mariah Carey’s #1 To Infinity residency is one of the best shows in Vegas. Featuring all the hits: Vision of Love, Love Takes Time and We Belong Together, this is a show that any Mariah fan can’t miss!

The Bronx Wanderers

Bally’s: Daily at 5:30pm

If you’re looking for a Las Vegas show that’s bound to please the whole family, consider The Bronx Wanderers. This talented trio are backed by a live band, and perform hits from bands across the decades, including The Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Coldplay.

The Righteous Brothers

Harrahs: Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6pm

The legendary Bill Medley partners with Bucky Heard to bring fans one of the most anticipated shows in Las Vegas. The Righteous Brothers have been rock and roll legends since the 1970s, and their shows continue to sell out year after year. Their Las Vegas residency shows feature hits like Ebb Tide and Unchained Melody.

Shows in Las Vegas are always a spectacular experience, with an electric atmosphere and fierce talents taking to the stage. There are also many dinner and show packages for each of these events, some of which even come with champagne for the table, so it’s important to check with the venues if these packages are available.
